Job description
An Advance Practice Esthetician at Turn North is responsible for providing skin care treatments to clients that include but are not limited to microdermabrasion, hydro-dermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and facials while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. The AP esthetician should be good at perceiving clients' wishes and needs through spoken language, body language, and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly.
The duties & responsibilities of an Advance Practice at Turn North are:
Provide 60-75-90-minute skin treatments to clients by appointment
Be proficient at offering various skin treatments with a relaxing tone & hot stones
Guide clients through service offerings and determine which skin treatment would benefit them most
Take a detailed client history and note any skin concerns and preferences
Evaluate clients to determine skin concerns and preferences
Advise clients on aftercare for both skin and waxing
Suggest future appointments and regime to clients
Listen to clients during appointments and adjust as needed

The duties & responsibilities of a massage therapist at Turn North are:
Provide 30-45-60-75-90-minute massages to clients by appointment
Be proficient at offering various spa massages with a relaxing tone & hot stones
Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most
Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
Advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients
Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire
